Fantasy Premier League: Bonus Points For FPL Gameweek 9 Have Been Allotted

The bonus points in Fantasy Premier League have been officially confirmed for the games held during gameweek 9.

The start of game week 8 in Fantasy Premier League (FPL) was marked by Liverpool defeating Everton by the score line of 2:0 and it was concluded with Spurs getting a comfortable win against Fulham with the score line of 2:0, Son Heung-min and James Maddison scored one goal each in the game. Spurs now sit at the top of the table, 2 points ahead of the second place Manchester City.

Bonus points play a crucial role in Fantasy Premier League points scoring. They are determined and distributed post-match using a Bonus Points System (BPS). This system relies on a variety of statistics provided by Opta to capture on-field actions, resulting in a performance score for each player. Let’s take a look at the bonus points that have been allotted for Gameweek 5.

Bonus point ties are resolved as follows:

If there is a tie for first place, Players 1 & 2 will receive 3 points each and Player 3 will receive 1 point.
If there is a tie for second place, Player 1 will receive 3 points and Players 2 and 3 will receive 2 points each.
If there is a tie for third place, Player 1 will receive 3 points, Player 2 will receive 2 points and Players 3 & 4 will receive 1 point each.
