Wind Breaker is hitting screens on April 4. It will premiere on 28 MBS/TBS stations at 12:26 a.m. JST, which is technically April 5. If you can’t wait, there is an early screening event at Shinjuku Wald 9 on March 31. Some of the cast will be there, adding to the hype.
The promo video for Wind Breaker didn’t just show cool scenes, it also introduced new cast members. The awesome animation in Wind Breaker is made by a skilled team. Toshifumi Akai, who worked on Fate/Grand Order Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia, is the director. Hiroshi Seko, known for Attack on Titan and Jujutsu Kaisen, is in charge of the series composition. Taishi Kawakami designs the characters, and Ryō Takahashi creates the music. With their talents, they are making sure the anime looks and sounds amazing.
Kodansha USA Publishing got the rights to the Wind Breaker manga, which got a lot of buzz after it came out in English online in spring 2022. It’s about delinquent high schoolers becoming heroes in a thrilling story. People love the action in the manga. It even made it onto AnimeJapan’s 2022 list of “Manga We Want To See Animated.” Fans are super excited for the anime version to come out.
