Octagram, one of the Eight Star Demon Lords, has greatly increased his power since he became one. The people of Rimuru’s home nation welcome him with the same level of fervor and reverence that his devoted followers would show him when he returns. Yet, he has only just started to mature.
Do you recall the assignment that Rimuru left for Diablo while he was away? It seems like Diablo has done an excellent job maintaining command of the negotiations with the Farmus Kingdom. His handling of the incident demonstrated Diablo’s intelligence and efficiency in managing its foreign relations. He is an expert politician who promptly resolves any issue that could trouble Rimuru.
Even Myulan was perspiring profusely during the peace talks. Diablo was on the verge of losing it over the Farmus Kingdom’s refusal to recognize Rimuru’s authority.
I thought this episode was hilarious and excellent. Rimuru and his pals’ playful and entertaining conversation is back, and it’s great to see. Rimuru has built an incredible network of loyal friends and subordinates. And the manner he has done it makes you want to be in his shoes. Even though you’re delighted for him, you secretly envy him and pull for the slimiest slime because you want to be just like him.
