The fans are excited for Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 257 which will be out soon. In Chapter 256, a flashback is shown in which Gojo explains the Black Flash. According to him, the approach operates by inducing a spatial distortion of around one millisecond between the physical impact and the energy. Nevertheless, despite this characterization, he acknowledges that triggering a triumphant Black Flash is ultimately dependent on chance, even for him. In addition, he notes that although Nanami may have delivered a greater number of blows consecutively, he has likely accomplished a larger number of blows overall.

Previously in Chapter 256

The next scene takes place on the battlefield, where Miguel, Maki, Choso, and Yuji realize they must vanquish Sakuna before he regains his full strength with his reverse curse method. Returning to the fight, Choso and Yuji join forces to unleash a combo on Sakuna.

Even though Sakuna dodges the blow, Maki reappears in a flash and stabs him in the chest. To prevent her from moving, Sakuna firmly grasps her blade and unleashes another Black Flash. He has utilized the ability three times throughout this battle. In addition, Maki has seen that Sakuna’s cursed energy from her usual cutting attacks has grown stronger.

While Choso and Sakuna engage in a battle of blows, the King of Curses materializes from behind Choso and catches him in mid-slash. A second Black Flash strikes him as he smashes into the wall. In this combat alone, Sakuna has accumulated four points. By manipulating blood, Choso may create armor, reducing damage.

After that, Yuji surprises Sakuna and knocks him out with a powerful blow to the chin. Choso claims that Sakuna will remain susceptible to Yuji’s assaults regardless of how much his health improves. Now we cut to Miguel, who offers Larue a way out of the fight, but she turns him down. Larue playfully suggests that he still has a task to complete.

Awakening

The duel between Sakuna and Yuji continues. We watch as Yuji gets ready for his personal Black Flash just as the announcer mentions that he still hasn’t mastered Convergence. Just like Mahito, Sakuna can feel that Yuji is ready to use Black Flash, according to the narrator. However, Larue is ensnaring Sakuna’s mind to immobilize him, so he is unable to respond.

In a direct hit on Sakuna, Yuji lets out a tremendous Black Flash. “From dark sparks, a glimmer of hope shines,” the final page reads. Awakening, Yuji Itadori is. We will see in the following chapter how much of an effect this huge blow has on the King of Curses, but it appears that the war with Sakuna is officially heating up.
