The Dual Saga Unfolding in Tokyo

In Tokyo, at the Kokumin Kyōsai Coop Hall/Space Zero, there are two plays happening at the same time from April 19-29. One is called Butai “Vinland Saga” Umi no Hate no Hate-hen, and it’s all about Thorfinn. The other one is Butai “Vinland Saga” Eiyū Fukkatsu-hen, and it is focuse on Canute. Each play will have eight performances and they’re designed to be super immersive, making sure everyone in the audience is excited and hooked.

Daisuke Nishida is like a superhero and he is both the person who write the story (scriptwriter) and the one who tell everyone what to do (director). This makes sure the plays are a perfect mix of exciting story and cool thing to watch. There is an awesome team of actors who will make the stage shine:

Vinland Saga’s English Manga

Kodansha USA Publishing play a big part in sharing this story with English readers. It js all about Thorfinn, the son of a really important Viking warrior. He is super mad and wants revenge because his dad died in a battle. Thorfinn join Askeladd’s group to challenge him to a fight and thing get really intense as they all try to become the ruler of England. The person who made the cool manga called Planetes is the genius behind this epic tale, and lot of people have been really excited to read it.

Yukimura started Vinland Saga in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2005 and then it moved to Afternoon in the same year. In November 2019 the artist began the fourth and last part of this amazing story. With more than 7 million copies out there. Vinland Saga has become a favorite for manga fans.

Vinland Saga went from comics to TV with its first anime show in July 2019. There were 24 super exciting episodes. People in Japan and all over the world could watch it on Amazon Prime Video. Then, in July 2022, Netflix and HIDIVE also started showing the series.
