The developers of The Witcher video games CD Projekt Red have some exciting news to share they are hard at work on The Witcher 4 which they code-name Polaris. The crew working on the game is larger than they expected instead of the number they had in mind they now have 403 members which indicates they are prepared to begin working on the game in earnest. Additionally CD Projekt offered details on other Witcher projects that were in development such as the planning phase of Fool Theory’s Witcher remake Canis Majoris and the early pre-production stages of The Witcher game Sirius.

During the earnings call CD Projekt provided updates on The Witcher series as well as the Cyberpunk 2077 brand, Cyberpunk 2077 and Phantom Liberty their growth have brought in an incredible $752 million in revenue since its rapid launch.

Compared to its previous generations The Witcher 4 will use the Unreal Engine 5 rejecting the use of the RED Engine from earlier versions. Though currently in pre-production full production is expected to begin in the second half of the year paving the way for a new gaming experience.
