Instead of accepting, Kyotaro goes to see Adachi in the bathroom. Adachi informs Kyotaro that he will be participating in the competition and brings up the event that happened between him and Yamada at the sports festival last year. Leaving the restroom, Kyotaro continues to think about what happened. As they collide, Yamada brings up Kyotaro’s wound from the incident.
Adachi challenges Kyotaro to a duel because he is envious of Kyotaro’s friendship with Yamada. Kyotaro jogs to get ready for Adachi’s challenge, which he accepts. After seeing Kyotaro at the park, Yamada takes him to her house to teach him the ropes. Next, we jump to the students getting ready for the festival, following some entertaining and intriguing events at Yamada’s residence.
Nonetheless, Yamada meets with Kyotaro before the competition and writes something on his skull. She also puts a sweatband on his head and begs him not to take it off. A humorous speech by Adachi sets the stage for the competition. Using deceit, Kanna takes part in a scavenger hunt. Due to this, her squad is no longer eligible to compete.
As he endures this torment, Kyotaro keeps an eye on Adachi, who is preparing for their combat. The organizers of the sports festival would like to end the event immediately since it begins to rain. Adachi goes up to them and begs that they allow the lads to fight in the cavalry duel. Kyotaro agrees with Adachi and the boys race.
