In a turn of shocking events, fan favourite Team SouL has been disqualified from the semi finals race of BGIS 2021. Team Soul was at the sixth place and was fighting for that slot. R Esports snatched the spot from the them.

With 49 points and 22 frags, Team SouL came in seventh place. The squad appeared to be on the verge of qualifying at the end of the fourth match, but things didn’t go their way in the final two games, as they only managed three points.
Given that Team SouL’s lineup has changed several times since the introduction of BGMI, the organisation will try to use this setback as a learning experience and improve in future events.
In addition, Team Insane was unable to advance to the India Series semi-finals. The team had been performing well in recent third-party competitions, but they had a bad day and were eliminated from BGIS 2021 in tenth place with only 31 points.
Godlike Esports topped the Group 4 rankings. Tactical Esports and 4 Heroes, in second and third place, respectively, with 83 and 82 points, were the teams to beat. The semi-finals will take place from January 7 to 10.
