What happened till now?

Satou, his wife, Alabaster, and Prince Marse travel to Maasa, the Land of Water, in the first scene of the episode. It turns out to be very remote, despite being the largest city in the kingdom. It is upon their arrival that they discover Prince Marse has gone missing. But they do figure out that Marse needs to attend to some matters at Maasa.

Saphir Maasa, a girl from the Kingdom of Water, meets them after this. Right as she finds out that Satou is the Ring King, she rushes to kiss him, marry him, and give him the ring. After this, she informs him that he must now rule the land peacefully. They soon meet the first prince of Gisaras, Sluder, who is Marse’s older brother and an undefeated general. Upon discovering Saphir’s marriage to the Ring King, he summons them to the palace.

They pass by the stunning Euyumaasa Falls on their approach to the palace. Beyond the waterfalls, there was once a land of earth, and they learn that this is the ill-fated kingdom of the Abyss King.

A hideous beast ambushes them as they draw near the royal residence. But with the rings, Satou effortlessly vanquishes the terrible creature. The actions confirm the veracity of the Ring King’s stories to General Sluder Gisaras.

We next encounter Saphir’s father, the King, who is old and easily influenced by prophecy, not long after. Further information reveals that the Oracle is working with the Marse kingdom to depose Maasa. Princess Saphir’s twin sister’s former lover, Prince Marse, is now working as a spy for Marse.
