After days of aniticipation, a formal announcement has been made regarding Soul new lineup. While there were many leaks, it is now announced that Akshat, Omega, Goblin and Hector will make the new line up. As of now, there is not fifth man announced and the line up will be a four man lineup.
1. Omega – Sahil Jakhar (In-game leader)
2. Akshat – Akshat Goel (Assaulter)
3. Goblin – Harsh Paduwal (Assaulter)
4. Hector – Sohail (Assaulter)
Soon after BGIS, the team signed Omega and Akshat from Chemin Esports. Goblin, a rising Insane Esports talent, has also joined the team.
The declaration was delayed because the fourth player, Hector, was involved in some paperwork with his previous organisation.
Omega has been in the scene since 2019 and previously worked with 8bit for a long time. Akshat was also a member of 8Bit and has been regarded as one of the best assaulters in recent years.
Harsh “Goblin” Paudwal previously played for Team Insane, where he and his teammates won a number of minor tournaments. They won the Quantum Cup, the Rooter Pro Scrims, Game TV Weekly Season 1, and the Pro Warrior Cup Season 1. In addition, the team came in second place in Loco War of Glory.
Sohail “Hector” Shaikh, on the other hand, is a relatively new name in BGMI esports, having previously played for reputable organisation Entity Gaming.
Without a doubt, SouL has the largest fan base in the entire country. SouL fans will be looking to end a two-year trophy drought with this new and revitalised team.
