The fans are excited for Shangri-La Frontier Episode 23 which will be out soon. Wow, Sunraku is really stepping up his game to take on an opponent with armor once more. He has gotten better at using numbers and abilities to think and battle faster as he has gotten older. That is just remarkable. An intense and valiant struggle for Sunraku. It appears that RPG mechanics and statistics do matter, though, because of that level 98 stat.

Previously in Episode 22 and Review

Raising Bilac to the level of Ancient Craftsman is a huge ordeal for no apparent reason. Inventoria already has Sunraku’s weapon chosen out from the Magic Operations Unit, which belonged to the Divinity era, and the ether reactor as well. Sunraku needs to go to the Lightless Barrens to obtain the Delta items, and happily, he is on his way there.

The difficulty is that the trio shares the inventory system. The Magic Operations Unit is at the Ruins of Past Glories. Sunraku must disguise himself as a rabbit named Bilac and another named Emul in order to traverse the various lands. He must first reach the Fourfolkshire in Fourth City in order to acquire anti-miasma weapons and fight the Canyon of Ancient Souls.

Aside from the poisonous gorge where Lycagon cleared Sunraku of miasma at lower levels, not even low-level Wyvern Zombies are able to withstand the Mark, so they can’t use what they’ve learned…until they encounter a rare enemy—a Dullahan General. Sunraku and Emul form a formidable team by offering each other opportunities to battle against it, but it is Bilac who demonstrates her skill by vanquishing it.

From its dangerous lands, the road continues far beyond the dropped Decapitator, which Level 98 herself can examine. You can’t underestimate the strength of Sunraku’s dependence.
