As Shido and his allies get ready for the imminent confrontation with the DEM, the second episode, The Final Rest, will presumably delve more into the approaching conflict. As they get ready to face their fearsome enemies, the episode is likely to explore the inner lives of each character.

In addition, it might provide light on Mio Takamiya’s role in the developing storyline, her relationship with the phantoms, and the Spirit of Origin in deeper depth.
