Continuing from Chapter 157, Shin challenges Haruma to a sumo match in Chapter 158 of Sakamoto Days. With any luck, Shin will be able to beat Haruma in this sumo match. Haruma questions Shin, “Why are you fighting so hard?” before they start. The reason, according to Shin, is that he is standing up for someone dear to him.
The challenge is one that Haruma is willing to take. But they’re both dead in the ring if the other gets the better of them. After Shin agrees to Haruma’s conditions, the two begin to fight. Even though it appears like either side could win, Haruma begins to completely dominate Shin with his skills. Shin orders Haruma to stop before he attacks Shin.
When Haruma tries to move, he becomes immobile. What just transpired is unclear to Shin. Still, he seizes the chance to kiss Haruma on the cheek. Shin is plotting to throw Haruma outside the ring as the chapter comes to a close.
