The anticipation of a weekend outing with her mother fills Ruri Aoki’s heart as she eagerly wakes up. After she fastens her seatbelt, her mother gets behind the wheel of the car. All of a sudden, Ruri starts emitted static electricity, which stops their progress. Next, we transition to a flashback in which Ruri’s mom tells her daughter how dragons can call upon lightning.
