In the previous chapter, Kanojo, Okarishimasu, Mimi and Kazuya are at a Chinese restaurant trying hotpot. Kazuya can’t read the menu so Mimi helps him pick dishes for his date with Chizuru. They find out Chizuru likes spicy food which matches the hotpot they are having.

They discuss going to an amusement park for the date but Kazuya’s concerned about rain. He imagines being close to Chizuru but can’t share these thoughts with Mimi. Meanwhile, Chizuru’s friends invite her to a party, but she says no because she is already going out with Kazuya.
