The highly anticipated PUBG Mobile 2.0 update is just around the corner, and the first iteration of the beta has players on the edge of their seats. While the developers are releasing new features such as the official release of the Livik Map and Emergency Pickup, the collaboration with Evangelion has been a hot topic in the community. With new modes and other themed content, it is expected to provide a one-of-a-kind experience. The PUGB Mobile 2.0 patch notes are now available, providing players with a comprehensive overview of the numerous changes coming to the battle royale title. Official version of Livik Map

The official version of Livik Map will be released 22 months after the BETA version in the 2.0 version. Here are some of the new Livik map’s features:

New themed zones

Popular locations such as Midstein and Blomster have undergone changes. The Lumber Yard has been renamed the Logistics Center. A new area called ‘Iceborg’ will also be introduced.

New off-road vehicle

The map now includes a brand-new four-seater UTV. The vehicle is small and manoeuvres easily across terrain. The UTV can traverse the area smoothly regardless of how complex the environment is.

Evangelion Theme Mode

The Evangelion theme is based on the collaboration between PUBG Mobile and Evangelion. The mode will feature a new blue zone mechanic for fast-paced gameplay, as well as EVA Unit 01 fighting the sixth angel.

Basic Improvements

The new version also includes several new improvements to help PUBG Mobile players enjoy the game more. Here are some examples:

  • The decline feature for subsequent requests has been implemented for the entire match.
  • The item bar in a backpack now has a collapse feature.
  • For added fun, the Graffiti and Emotes sections have been combined.
  • The size of the throwable wheel and the transparency of the markers have been adjusted.
  • The kill feed and in-game messages have been improved, and will now appear after certain actions.
  • Enemies hidden behind obstacles can now be identified with short voice messages.
  • Shotgun damage has been increased.
  • Smoke animation, sprint controls, weapon holding near a wall, and marking features have all received minor improvements.

Other Improvements

  • The new tier system will be bronze (with three tiers) and silver (which will have four tiers).
  • A brand-new Haptics system has been added to provide players with an entirely new experience.
  • The new Emergency Pickup feature on Miramar and Erangel will make it easier for players to get to the safe zone.
