The fans are excited for Oshi no Ko Chapter 149 which will be out soon. Chapter 148 of Oshi no Ko depicts the star-studded ensemble taking a beach getaway with “15-Year-Lie” director Taishi Gotanda after the film’s conclusion. Minami Kotokubi and Ruby Kotokubi also accompany them. Ruby explains that she is now at a break from her busy schedule, which is a relief. Contrarily, Taiki laments his tragic past, including the automobile accident he was in, and how the beach brings back painful memories of it.

In a brief chat, Taiki and Melt reveal their complex emotions regarding Ruby and Minami. Meanwhile, Kana asks Aqua to apply sunscreen to her with some hesitation. But Akane steps forward and offers to put on the sunscreen, blocking Aqua from approaching Kana.
During their time playing in the water, Miyako, Mem, Frill, and Aqua inquire if Akane feels uncomfortable in his presence. When asked about her feelings of awkwardness, Akane says that she has to keep a watch on Aqua because he could kill Hikaru Kamiki at any moment.
Aqua reacts with amazement to the comment, but Akane quickly counters by saying that he and others around him will be unhappy if he does it. In addition, the second character reveals her theory of how Ruby exacted her vengeance on Hikaru in the film’s climax. Akane contemplates her role in Aqua’s happiness and vows to keep playing the role as she walks away from him.
At the chapter’s end, Kana tells Akane that she has always had feelings for Aqua. Aqua appears to be happiest when he’s with Akane, which annoys Kana. At last, with a broad grin on her face, Kana wishes that Akane and Aqua might reconcile immediately, saying that only Akane could win Aqua’s heart.
