Chapter 24 of Obsidian Bride revealed that rumours circulated in one of the Empire’s eateries that Obsidian is actually Marianne, leading to heated debates and discussions. Supposedly, she acted in an unusual way to conceal her identity, as people would assume she was trying to pull an Amber.
From the start, Obsidian’s behavior was off-kilter; however, it is unclear if this was due to her severe shyness or her deliberate purpose. Everyone kept claiming that they’re all trying to hide their true identities, but Marianne was the only one who came clean about who she really is on the show.
