The most recent chapter begins with Aira and Mr. Mantis Shrimp doing their best to fend off the impending alien onslaught. This is not going to be a simple assignment because the aliens much outnumber them and in a three-man squad, they can only defeat one of them. Momo tells Airo to go on the head while holding the Serpo to stop any further invasion of alien spaceships via the gate. Without giving it a second thought, Aira advises that they move on from that place because, in her opinion—and Serpo agrees—if they don’t, their army’s main force will eventually reach there and they will be in serious trouble. There are currently no spoilers available for the upcoming Dandadan Chapter 98, but it appears like Aira and her allies will be fighting the alien army in the next chapter. As the primary foes have not yet appeared, the next chapter should be more exciting and action-packed.

Later in the chapter, Aira warns Momo after hearing her claim that she is about to be targeted by one of the adversaries and was only a second away from death when Jiji used his ki to stop the alien and save her. As Jiji and Mr. Mantis Shrimps ask Momo to go to the invasion gate, he somehow irritates Aira, who feels that even though she is the team leader, she isn’t fully taking the reins. As a result, Aira tells them that they are going to start Plan B, but not only do we as the audience know this, but Momo also knows that she doesn’t have a plan in mind, even when Jiji asks her to.
The scene shifts to Okarun, who becomes extremely disoriented while attempting to locate the Ayase House. He repeatedly goes back to his original place until eventually goes back to his body. When Okarun finally awakens after a period of time, he is in excruciating pain and has a difficult time moving, which makes it impossible for him to return to Momo and his other soldiers.
After some while, Okarun discovers that there is a plate of curry nearby with a note from Momo saying that she is waiting for him and that she loves him. A guy is immensely motivated by this and becomes extremely psyched up.
With this, Okarun consumes his meal and transforms into Turbo-Granny. Despite being aware of all of the wounds on his body, he proceeds with such desperation and goals.
