Aizawa is unable to use his quirk anymore so the other heroes step up to help Deku reach Shigaraki. AFO prepares to use a strongest attack but Deku’s friends refuse to give up. They include Mawata Fuwa who joins the fight alongside other classmates. Despite their efforts AFO seems unstoppable and prompting Aizawa to urge the heroes to clear a path for Deku.
As AFO prepares to release his full power, he reflects on how he’s no longer consumed by emotions like before. However, Hagakure’s quick thinking saves Deku from AFO’s laser attack. AFO begins to realize that Deku’s strength lies in the support of his friends something All Might didn’t have.
As Deku faces AFO head-on he receives encouragement from his friends, mentors and even people he has helped in the past. All Might, watching from a far acknowledges Deku as his greatest hero. With renewed determination and support from his loved ones Deku lands a decisive blow on AFO and marking a pivotal moment in his journey as a hero.
