In the story’s later chapters, we follow Yu Ijin as he leaves. He runs into Alice at the same moment he learns that her family is her Achilles’ heel.
She gives him a knowing look and comments on how conveniently timed his words are, as she is just about to leave. When he asks her why, she explains that she has to leave for personal reasons and that they happened to meet right before she left. She then wishes him well and leaves.
