At the beginning of this chapter, Alice and Ijin get into a fight. Alice didn’t understand why everyone was staring at her so anxiously. Since Ijin was still a little boy, she figured they would be concerned about him. But they were anxious because they knew Ijin wouldn’t be kind to her.
As soon as they began fighting, Ijin charged Alice to punch her. His rapid movement astonished Alice. She went for a punch at Ijin, but he stepped in to prevent it. The tension between them was rising dangerously. A freshman taking on Ijin was a sight for sore eyes for Shin Jiye. She gushed about how excited she was to see Alice perform.
Alice will likely make an effort to learn more about Ijin in the upcoming episode. Since she sparred with him, she has been wondering who he is. She is curious as to how a teenager has achieved such fighting prowess. Ijin, though, is skeptical of her and will find her shortly. Perhaps Ijin noticed her keeping tabs on him.
