After a two-year hiatus, India has returned to participate in the PUBG Mobile ecosystem. The champions of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series will receive the final invitational slot for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021 Grand Finals from the PUBG Mobile esports crew. Krafton has confirmed BGIS winners are going to be invited to the PMGC finals.
The PMGC 2021 League Finals for the East and West regions are presently being held at PUBGM esports. The top nine east-coast teams and the top six west-coast teams will advance to the grand finals. The winners of BGIS 2021 will be added to this list, bringing the total number of top 16 teams from around the world to compete for glory and a large reward pool to 32.
PUBG Mobile was banned in India for the past two years, leaving India out of the loop. Within the country, practise and scrimmages persisted, but there was no evidence of international participation. India is home to a slew of PUBG Mobile esports powerhouses, and they’ll finally get another chance to show off their prowess on an international stage.
