There will be new characters, cool banners and other amazing improvements in the next exciting Honkai Star Rail version 2.1 upgrade. The creator HoYoverse, has dropped a few clues about what to expect. The latest update will be ready on March 27 so please be aware of that. Play will be possible with three additional characters each of these has special abilities. Not only that but there are also unique banners featuring these characters. The game’s story will also be improved and players will be rewarded with new events and rewards, the story of the game is sure to be amazing.

The gameplay is enhanced by new storyline mechanics like Fate’s Ensemble which provide original story quests. The Clock Studios Theme Park and Dewlight Pavilion have also been added to the game world expanding it further and offering players more exploring options and challenges.
Three new characters are introduced in version 2.1 along with details on their unique characteristics and gameplay elements. Acheron who had her playable debut as a non-playable character in Version 2.0 now has five stars related to Lightning. Her whole skill set revolves around decreasing challenges which she does very well.
Another five-star addition, Aventurine also travels the Path of the Preservation and is skilled at managing situations where teammates are under attack and fighting back. Four-star Gallagher is a powerful complement to any team because of his speciality in healing skills.
HoYoverse has announced the Phase 1 and Phase 2 banner lineup confirming rumours. Acheron and Luocha are popular 5-star troops in Phase 1 and supporting character drop rates have been raised. In Phase 2 Jingliu and Aventurine are introduced as featured units with comparable bonuses for supporting cast members. Players may look forward to an exciting range of characters and rewards with these banners.
On March 27, the much awaited update will be available on digital stores as revealed during the Version 2.1 livestream on the official Honkai Star Rail YouTube channel. Even if there was a little delay because to the Lunar New Year celebrations fans should save this date in their calendars.
