GTA 4 introduced the world to Niko Bellic, the Serbian scoundrel who arrives in Liberty City ready to make it his own. It presented one of the most detailed open worlds at the time of release and introduced several features that have now become mainstays of the GTA and Red Dead franchises. It’s a little lighter on whimsy than its predecessors, as there are significantly fewer cheats available. The hilarious physics system does make the cheats that are on offer much more impactful though, so there’s still plenty of fun to be had. We’ll be breaking them up by platform, and also be taking a look at the best ways to make money, given there isn’t a free money cheat this time around.
As we mentioned before, the cheats for GTA 4 are a little more understated than in previous entries, though there’s still plenty of mayhem to be caused. Mostly, the GTA 4 Cheats focus on vehicle spawns and weapons, which I’m sure no seasoned GTA player would turn their nose up at. Entering cheats in GTA 4 works a little differently to how it does in other GTA games. With the introduction of the mobile phone, Rockstar has allowed players to enter cheats as phone numbers. All you need to do is open the phone menu, enter the call number corresponding to the cheat you wish to trigger, and press call.
