If you’ve been looking for a way to seal the Warding Stones in Genshin Impact, you’ve probably come across one of the new quests that came with the 2.1 update. Inazuma introduces two new characters, Baal and Sara, as well as two new islands to discover. However, due to the electro damage, traveling about Seirai Island isn’t as simple as you may imagine. You might not want to get too near to the island’s center. seal the warding stone genshin impact

You may get rid of the storm and unlock the Thunder Manifestation boss, Electro Oceanid, by completing the Seirai Stormchasers questline, but you’ll have to go through some lengthy stages to do it. Fortunately, you’ll find all you need in this guide. Here’s how you complete the Seirai Stormchasers questline by sealing the Warding Stones in Genshin Impact.

How to start the Seirai Stormchasers world quest

This task is given to you by Eiko, an NPC on Seirai Island. If you’re having difficulties finding her, look at the map above. She’ll say she’s looking into the storm and that she and her friend think it has something to do with the Warding Stones.

At the first Warding Stone, you’ll encounter Eiko’s companion, Taisuke, and after some more banter, you’ll be charged with following the cat footprints to the west. The quest will update when you approach each target marker, so just keep following the footprints until you reach Asase Shrine. It is situated on a tiny island.

In exchange for a favour, a talking cat named Neko will tell you how to seal the Warding Stones, so check the Offering Box noted on the map nearby. You’ll be transported to a few different sites across the island in order to locate the materials needed to repair the box. You’ll also have to deal with treasure hoarders, so take advantage of the nearby Statue of the Seven if you need to rest. seal the warding stone genshin impact

Return to the shrine and repair the Offering Box once you’ve gathered the necessary materials. Then speak with Neko, who will instruct you on how to seal the Warding Stones.

How to seal the first two Warding Stones

Neko’s explanation isn’t particularly clear, but it’s not overly difficult.

You can try to seal the Warding Stone here once you rejoin Eiko and Taisuke. To begin, interact with each of the three poles and count the number of paper charms on each one.

There are four paper charms on two of the poles, and three on the third. The Warding Stone must now be rotated so that the same amount of charms face each pole. As a result, four charms should be placed in front of each of the poles with the same number, and three charms should be placed in front of the last one. If you’re not sure, look at the screenshots above. Rotate the bottom twice for the first Warding Stone.

After you’ve completed the first, the next Warding Stone is marked on the map to the east. Defeat the opponents here, then touch each of the three paper charm poles—the third is a little to the northeast. You can get there by using the adjacent Electrogranum. Return to the stone once you’ve recorded the amount of charms. Rotate the top three times for the second Warding Stone. To find the next place, speak with Eiko.

How to seal the third Warding Stone

Things start to become a little complicated at this point. To get sent into the air and land on a rock in the sky, you’ll need to use the gate device found here. Then, to get to the three paper charms and the Warding Stone itself, you’ll need to utilize a sequence of Electrogranum. Fortunately, the Electrograna will point you in the proper path. Make sure you activate the teleport waypoint that’s immediately adjacent to the Warding Stone. If you get stuck, the video below from Airyuken should help. Once you’ve found all of the paper charms, rotate the top three times, then the bottom five times to seal the third Warding Stone.

How to seal the fourth Warding Stone

You must first reach the final Warding Stone, which is located on another floating rock formation on the other side of the crater, before returning to solid ground. However, getting there is rather simple. Take the reasonably linear course in a southerly direction utilizing the Electrograna once more. For the final stage, you’ll need to be quick since you’ll have to navigate a series of rocks before you can hurl yourself into the air.

When you get to the Warding Stone, you’ll notice that all of the paper charms are right here. Touch each of the paper charms after activating the teleport waypoint. Rotate the top twice, then the bottom twice to lock the fourth—and final—Warding Stone.

To face the Thunder Manifestation boss, head to the freshly constructed platform just to the north.
