Prepare yourselves, Genshin Impact enthusiasts, for the long-awaited arrival of Wriothesley in the upcoming patch 4.1. In a recent anniversary livestream hosted by Hoyoverse, players were treated to a tantalizing preview of this enigmatic character’s abilities. With the likes of Cryo DPS heavyweights such as Kamisato Ayaka and Ganyu setting the bar sky-high, expectations for Wriothesley are soaring.

Delving into Wriothesley’s Banner Particulars

The second half of patch 4.1 is expected to include Wriothesley, who will make his entrance around October 6th, when Neuvillette’s banner begins to fade. Details about the cast of 4-star characters that will be appearing beside him in the spotlight are still unknown.

Genshin Impact 4.1 Wriothesley Weapon Showcase

The “Cashflow Supervision,” Wriothesley’s go-to weapon, is displayed. A powerful 24% ATK increase is provided by this outstanding weapon. Additionally, for 4 seconds, it grants a 28% boost to Normal Attack DMG and a 24% boost to Charged Attack DMG when the wielder’s HP changes. Every 0.3 seconds, this potent effect will trigger.

It can stack up to three times. A 16% improvement in ATK SPD is felt by the wielder when they reach the coveted three-stack barrier. Cashflow Supervision will be featured in the limited weapon banner, side by side with Venti’s “Elegy for the End.”

Genshin Impact 4.1: Unveiling Wriothesley’s Abilities

Elemental Skill – Icefang Rush

The “Icefang Rush” by Wriothesley shows off his control over Cryo. Invoking the Chilling Penalty state as he charges forward, he ushers in a domain of enhanced power and unleashes devastating blows on his foes. It’s important to note that Wriothesley’s resistance to interruption is strengthened by the Chilling Penalty condition, and his Normal Attack, “Forceful Fists of Frost,” has an increased effect. The cost of all of this is his own HP, though.

Elemental Burst – Darkgold Wolfbite

Wriothesley grabs the attention with his “Darkgold Wolfbite.” He fires a chilling straight punch while putting on his boxing gloves. Multiple instances of AoE Cryo damage are spread over the battlefield as a result of this attack, trapping his enemies in an icy hold. At the end of “Icicle Impact,” a Surging Blade soars over the battlefield and unleashes precision Cryo destruction in a frontal region.

Genshin Impact 4.1 Wriothesley Constellations Unveiled

C1 – Terrorize the Evildoers

The “Gracious Rebuke” that appears in “There Shall Be a Plea for Justice” changes in this constellation. The fifth strike of “Repelling Fists” results in a Gracious Rebuke when Wriothesley’s HP drops below 50% or while he is in the Chilling Penalty state after the “Icefang Rush.” Every 2.5 seconds, this effect begins to work. A strike also extends the Chilling Penalty state by 4 seconds, with one such extension per duration of the state. The damage done is increased by an astounding 150% thanks to this enhancement.

C2 – Shackle the Arrogant

Each stack of “Prosecution Edict” acquired from the “There Shall Be a Reckoning for Sin” skill increases the damage dealt by “Darkgold Wolfbite” by an amazing 40% when it is used. The “There Shall Be a Reckoning for Sin” talent must be unlocked in order to activate this constellation.

C3 – Punish the Frauds

This constellation raises the level of “Normal Attack: Forceful Fists of Frost” by 3, reaching the pinnacle upgrade level of 15.

C4 – Redeem Those Who Suffer

The healing derived from “Rebuke: Vaulting Fist” escalates to an impressive 50% of Wriothesley’s Max HP. Additionally, if the healing value surpasses the HP threshold, the ensuing effects vary based on Wriothesley’s presence on the battlefield. While active, he bestows a 20% ATK SPD boost for 4 seconds. Conversely, when off-field, all party members enjoy a 10% spike in ATK SPD for 6 seconds. Both of these ATK SPD enhancements are non-cumulative.

C5 – Mercy for the Wrongly Accused

“Darkgold Wolfbite” attains the highest level of power with a level increase of 3, reaching the maximum upgrade level of 15.

C6 – Cherish the Innocent

This constellation enhances the CRIT Rate of “Rebuke: Vaulting Fist” by 10% and bolsters its CRIT DMG by a whopping 80%. Furthermore, upon release, it propels an icicle dealing 100% of “Rebuke: Vaulting Fist’s” Base DMG. The damage inflicted in this manner is attributed to Charged Attack DMG. Activating this constellation requires unlocking the “There Shall Be a Plea for Justice” talent.

Genshin Impact 4.1 Wriothesley’s Beneficial Passives

There Shall Be a Plea for Justice

Wriothesley initiates a “Gracious Rebuke” whenever his HP falls below 60%. In addition to replenishing his HP, this improves his subsequent Charged Attack. Wriothesley’s HP is restored after it drops to 30% of his maximum HP thanks to this action’s lack of stamina depletion, 30% more damage it deals, and 30% more DMG it deals. Once every five seconds, a “Gracious Rebuke” of this kind can be sent.

There Shall Be a Reckoning for Sin

This passive is similar to the previous one in that it doesn’t deplete stamina, increases damage dealt by 30%, and recovers HP for Wriothesley if it drops below 30% of his maximum HP. One of these “Gracious Rebuke”s can be acquired every 5 seconds once more.

The Duke’s Grace

Wriothesley gets a hefty 10% chance of producing twice as much of the intended item when making Weapon Ascension Materials.
