Nautilus Mobile, a mobile game development business, created one of the most popular cricket game franchises, Real Cricket. The Real Cricket game franchise has seen multiple instalments, the most recent of which was Real Cricket 20. They are now adding a new member to the list.
Cricket 22 was also postponed at the last minute owing to a controversy involving Australian cricketer Tim Paine. Paine resigned as captain of the men’s cricket team in 2017 when it was discovered that he had sent obscene messages to a female cricket teammate. He also contributed to the game’s original cover art, but Big Ant Studios had to rework “the cover art, other aesthetics, and team listings.”
Cricket 22 is also coming to the Nintendo Switch, but it won’t be available until January 2022. As a result, the popular cricket video game brand will be one of the few big sporting franchises available on the portable system.

The developers have not specified a specific release date for Real Cricket 22, although it is expected to be launched next year. Big Ant Studios’ latest Cricket game is now available on Steam. The early access game – a type of demo edition — is available at the time of writing, but it comes with a disclaimer that it is not yet complete. You may get early access to Cricket 22 by pre-ordering it on Steam for Rs. 2,999.
Cricket 22 is available in India for Rs. 3,999 and on all platforms for AUD 99.95 (approximately Rs. 5,350). Cricket 22 Nets Training, Batting and Bowling mini games, and online leaderboards are all included with pre-ordering the game.
The game may also be pre-ordered and purchased for AUD 99.95 via Cricket Australia’s online store for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. On the Microsoft Store, it’s now unavailable, with a price of Rs. 3,999 on the main page.
