Kishimoto took over as the manga’s storywriter in November 2020, starting with the 52nd chapter.
While fans eagerly await the manga’s return, they can still enjoy the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations television anime series. The anime premiered in Japan on TV Tokyo in April 2017 and has been licensed by Viz Media, which streams it on Hulu as it airs in Japan. The anime’s “Part I” ended with its 293rd episode on March 26, and “Part II” has been green-lit.
