UDOG India joined the BGMI esports circuit when they were invited to compete in the only official tournament to date, BGIS 2021. Since then, UDOG India has been a force to be reckoned with, appearing in multiple tournament semi-finals and finals.

However, things turned sour when the team’s players were accused of using illegal hacks to gain an unfair advantage in matches. The process of allegations and bans quickly followed, and the team issued an official statement.

BGMI esports team UDOG India hacking allegations

The UDOG India players were accused of cheating. When asked to provide videos demonstrating their point of view, they gave the organisation the incorrect footage. As a result, they were barred from competing in the Villager Esports: Winter Masters semi-finals.

In response to the allegations, UDOG India recently issued an official statement stating that they had conducted extensive research on the subject and discovered that the players were not cheating.

They did, however, agree that the events surrounding the POV video were deceptive. While Kishu had previously stated that he couldn’t save the video due to a lack of storage space on his device, this was proven false when the investigation was carried out using the POV video provided by his teammate Rambo.

The announcement went on to say that Dev was using Kishu’s account and that he, too, had failed to provide the POV video.

The team reportedly released three players because these actions violated the Terms and Conditions of the contracts given to the BGMI esports players by UDOG India, who want to deliver fair and competitive gameplay in the tournaments. Kishu, Dev, and Zark are the players.

The officials also expressed gratitude to those who assisted in the investigation and stated that the organisation will strive to continue assisting in the growth of BGMI esports in India.
