Battlegrounds Mobile India was launched on July 2, 2021, for Android devices. There is no news regarding BGMI iOS launch date. Most users in India play Battlegrounds Mobile India on android devices, its release on iOS devices is crucial for professional Esports players. However, for reasons unknown, Krafton has been very uptight regarding BGMI’s iOS launch.
Many esports athletes and content creators contacted Krafton but the officials weren’t able to provide much. Naman Mathur aka Mortal repeated the same narrative by saying. “As of now, it’s unlikely that BGMI is coming anytime soon on iOS. I had a chat with them (Krafton) and they weren’t able to provide much. Krafton said there’s still some time left before they can come up with something solid. And for those who are facing grind issues…” shared Mortal before he got interrupted.
Aman “AMAN” Jain, a professional Indian PUBG Mobile player said. “Until Krafton performs a miracle, it’s still a matter of one or two months before BGMI releases on iOS. And you will find no luck in asking around for a release date as no one knows.”
He further added, “Content creators of S8UL are buying android phones for now while I am thinking of buying a Nubia Red Magic 3 as well. I don’t know what’s the reason behind this delay but the game is not coming right now.”
Kronten has played a huge part in speculations that were buzzing around during the pre-release state of BGMI. On his Livestream, he shared that he only had information regarding the android version’s official release just a few hours ahead of the launch. Now, in a community update on his official YouTube channel, he said, “It’ll take a while before the game comes on iOS devices. We have to wait for a few more days.”
Krafton’s website support section says that an iOS version of BGMI will indeed be released soon. Now, while the game is out there for every android user to download, iOS players still haven’t got a clue about a release date.
A leak is spreading out for the PUBG Mobile BGMI release date where it stated that Battlegrounds Mobile India might release on 24th July 2021.
