Tim David is a professional cricketer who currently represents Australia in International cricket. Tim was born on 16 March, 1996. In the year 2022, Tim shifted to the Australian cricket team and started playing for them officially. He was also part of Australia’s T20I World Cup team. In the Australian team the first match he played was against India in 2022. He originally belongs to Singapore and used to play for Singapore National cricket Team at the early stages of his cricketing career. His International debut for Singapore took place in the year 2019 and he played 14 T20I for them before shifting to Australian team.
Tim was acquired by Hobart Hurricanes in the 2020-21 season of Big Bash League. He scored 58 runs in the opening game of the league and beat Sydney Sixers by 16 runs. Tim was awarded as man of the match for his outstanding performance. In the 2017-18 Big Bash League, Tim played his T20 debut match for Perth Scorchers on 1 January, 2018. Tim’s father Rod Davis was also a professional cricketer who used to play for Singapore. He represented Singapore in the 1997 ICC tournament. Tim’s father was originally from Australia. He went to Singapore for his job as an engineer. Tim was born in Singapore and two years after his birth they again shifted to Australia.

During 2021 in England, a new league named The 100 was going to start and Tim was selected by a franchise called Southern Brave. In the final match of The 100, Tim played a crucial part and gave an all round performance for the team. He was acquired by Lancashire County Cricket Club to play in the 2022 T20 Blast in England in February 2022. For the remaining matches of Indian Premier League 2021 season which took place in UAE, Tim was selected by Royal Challengers Bangalore. In 2021 Pakistan Super League (PSL) was postponed, and therefore, Joe Burns wasn’t available for the upcoming matches. So, Lahore Qalandars signed Tim David as an immediate replacement of Joe Burns. In the 2022 season of PSL Tim was signed by the Multan Sultans.
For Singapore, Tim made his List A debut against Qatar on 17 September 2019 in the Cricket World Cup Challenge League A Tournament. He played his first T20 match for Singapore’s official team in October 2019. Tim became the first player from Singapore to play in IPL in the year 202, when he played for RCB against CSK. In the mega auctions of IPL 2022 season, he was sold to Mumbai Indians. Tim was selected in the Australian cricket team in 2022, for the World Cup and their series against India. It was on 20 September, 2022 when Tim played his T20 International debut match against India. He made 54 runs of just 27 balls in the third match of the series. Tim has performed consistently and has been a part of several leagues. This has made him a player to be always considered.
