His debut figures were (8.1-Overs, 1 Maiden, 54 Runs, 4 Wickets, 0 No-Balls, 7 Wide, 6.60 runs/over) as well. In May 2021, he was added as one of four standby players in India’s Test squad for the final of the 2019–2021 ICC World Test Championship as well as their away series against England too.

In February 2022, Prasidh Krishna was added to India’s Squad for ODIs against West Indies. In the 1st ODI, he took 2 wickets for 29 runs in 10 overs. He maintained his good form in the 2nd ODI and claimed 4 wickets for just 12 runs in 9 overs and was awarded man of the match as well. He also took 3 wickets for 27 runs in the 3rd ODI and got the Man of the Series award as well.
In April 2018, he was bought by the Kolkata Knight Riders as a replacement for injured Kamlesh Nagarkoti. On 6th May 2018, he made his IPL debut against Mumbai Indians replacing the injured Shivam Mavi. In February 2022, Rajasthan Royals bought him for ₹10 Cr in the mega auction for the 2022 Indian Premier League tournament as well.
