Ishant Sharma was born on 2nd September 1988. He is an Indian cricketer who has represented India in all three formats. In 2011, he became the fifth-youngest player to pick up 100 Test wickets. Against South Africa in 2013, he became the fifth quickest Indian bowler to grab 100 ODI wickets as well.
In February 2021, during the series against England, Ishant Sharma took his 300th wicket in the longer format as well. Ishant Sharma has also played for Kings XI Punjab in the Indian Premier League. In December 2018, Delhi Capitals bought him in the player auction for the 2019 Indian Premier League as well.
Ishant Sharma was not picked at the mega auction of IPL 2022. And, on Wednesday (March 30), during the game between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), he made a surprise entry in the Virtual Guest Box as well.
