Sandeep Sharma was born in Patiala, Punjab He is a right-arm medium-fast bowler and rose through the ranks of age-group cricket very quickly. He has the ability to bowl both outswingers and inswingers at will which makes him a potent weapon against any opposition. He can also bowls well in the death, he has perfected the art of bowling yorkers and change-of-pace deliveries. Sandeep Sharma was picked in the 2010 ICC U 19 World Cup. His ability to swing the Kookaburra ball at will and in both directions made him a match-winner, he went from strength to strength and soon started taking giant strides in his career.

Sandeep Sharma continued the good work and replicated his junior-level performance at the domestic level when he finished as the leading wicket-taker for Punjab in the 2012-13 Ranji Trophy season. Sandeep was bagged by the Kings XI Punjab in the 2013 IPL and it didn’t take him long to establish himself in the franchise. Following his impressive performances in the domestic circuit and the IPL, Sandeep Sharma was drafted into the Indian T20I squad for the series in Zimbabwe back in 2015. Sandeep’s career has also been hampered due to several stress fractures but he has now recovered well and is raring to get into action.

Sandeep has a brilliant record against left-handed batters and have the uncanny ability to get wickets early on in the innings. The right-hand pacer has worked hard on the game and has developed a new skill set which makes him a valuable player in any team. Given his recent form, Sharma could well make a comeback in India colours in the near future.
