Moeen Ali is a professional cricketer, who plays for England cricket team Internationally. Moeen has represented the England cricket team in all the three formats of the game. Moeen was born on 18 June 1987 in Birmingham, England. Moeen is an all round player who bowls right arm off spin and is a left handed batsman. Moeen is considered as one of the top all rounders of England. Moeen has been a part of International cricket since 2014, as he made his debut back then. In domestic cricket, Moeen plays for Warwickshire. He also represented Worcestershire before. Moeen has been a part of Indian Premier League (IPL) since 2018, as he was first bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore. Moeen’s franchise fee was INR 1.7 crores that season. Moeen played in the Pakistan Super League in the 2019 season, when he was signed by Multan Sultans as their top class player. He was one of the players with the highest salary in the team. After Moeen got released by RCB in 2021 IPL auctions, he was signed by Chennai Super Kings at the franchise fees of nearly INR 7 crores. After being part of the IPL Moeen got several brand endorsements. Chennai Super Kings won the 2021 IPL season, in which they signed Moeen Ali.

It was on 24 February 2014, when Moeen played his One Day International debut match for England against West Indies. After that, Moeen was selected in England’s team for the ICC 2014 T20 world cup. Moeen was then selected in England’s Test team for their series against Sri Lanka. It was on 12 June 2014, when he played his debut Test match against Sri Lanka. Later Moeen became part of the England team that played in the 2015 ICC cricket world cup. Moeen became the first Asian origin player to captain the England team, when he led his team against Australia in a T20I. In 2022, after Eoin Morgan retired, Moeen was appointed vice captain of the team. Moeen got selected in England’s Test team to face Australia in the Ashes series of 2023.
