The Welsh Fire Women are having a great show in the tournament. They are unbeaten in the Women’s Hundred 2023 so far, having won three matches so far after their first game was abandoned due to rain. They won in a thrilling match against the Birmingham Phoenix Women in their last outing as well. Tammy Beaumont scored 59 to help her side post 137 on the board as well. The game went to the final over and Shabnim Ismail picked up a hat trick in the last set to help her side win the game by three runs. They will be looking to do well in their next match as well.
The Southern Brave Women, on the other hand, have played four games in the Women’s Hundred 2023 so far and won three of those as well. The pitch at Sophia Gardens helps the batters and they can enjoy their strokes freely from the beginning as well. Bowlers need to work hard to pick wickets.
