The 21st match of The Hundred Women’s 2023 Competition will see the Oval Invincibles play against the London Spirit on Tuesday, August 15 at The Kennington Oval in London. The Invincibles have five points so far to their name, having won two matches so far and lost as many as well. They faced the Birmingham Phoenix in their last match and beat them in a thrilling game as well. However, after being asked to bat first, the Invincibles put up 142 on the board, courtesy of the contributions from Lauren Winfield-Hill (41) and Marizanne Kapp (64 not out). The bowlers then did exceptionally well and restricted the Phoenix to 132/6 to help their team win the game by 10 runs as well.
London Spirit, on the other hand, are struggling in The Hundred Women’s 2023 tournament as well. They only have two points in their name after their first two games were abandoned and they went on to lose their next two matches as well. They will be hoping for their maiden win of the tournament on Tuesday as well. However, the Spirit lost to the Trent Rockets in their last game. Danielle Gibson and Amelia Kerr smashed 36 each as they finished their innings on 124/4. The bowlers tried their best and picked up five wickets but they failed to defend the total as the Trent Rockets reached the finish line with 13 balls in hand.

The surface at the Kennington Oval helps the batters. The pacers may get some help from the surface with the new ball, but the surface won’t be much helpful for the bowlers and batters can play their shots freely as well. And, the temperature in London on Tuesday is expected to be between 13 and 24 degrees Celsius as well.
