Zak Chappel claimed four wickets to help the Oval Invincibles restrict the Phoenix side to 160/8. Ross Whiteley top-scored with 35 while chasing but he didn’t get much support from the other end which saw them getting knocked over for 119 to lose the game by 41 runs as well.
On the other hand, London Spirit are placed in the middle of the points table with four points to their name so far as well. They have won one game and lost one while two games were washed out due to rain. They beat the Trent Rockets in a nail-biting contest in their last game and they will look to carry forward the winning momentum also. After being asked to bat first, captain Daniel Lawrence led from the front and scored a swashbuckling 93 off 49 balls to take London Spirit to 195/4. The game went down the wire and the Spirit bowlers managed to restrict the Rockets to 193/5 to win the game by two runs as well.

The surface at the Kennington Oval helps the batters. The pacers may get some help from the surface with the new ball, but the surface won’t be much helpful for the bowlers and batters can play their shots freely as well.
