Chepauk Super Gillies have won two games out of their five matches so far, while Siechem Madurai Panthers have won one out of their three matches as well. Chepauk Super Gillies started the tournament with two consecutive wins but unfortunately lost their next three games. However, in their last game against Nellai Royal Kings, they put up a total of 159/7, courtesy of a brilliant knock of 79 runs off 51 balls by Baba Aparajith. However, Nellai Royal Kings’ captain scored a century off 61 balls and helped his side to an 8-wicket victory while chasing 160 runs as well.
On the other hand, Siechem Madurai Panthers started the season with two defeats but won their first match against Salem Spartans. Salem Spartans were bundled out for just 98 runs as well, with Gurjapneet Singh claiming three wickets and V Gowtham and Murugan Ashwin picking up two wickets each. Siechem Madurai Panthers comfortably chased down the target with seven wickets and seven overs in hand. They will be trying to carry forward this winning momentum into their upcoming match as well.
