Sydney Thunder Women will take on Adelaide Strikers Women at North Sydney Oval in Sydney on 20th November, Sunday in the 56th match of the Women’s Big Bash League. Sydney Thunder Women have won only one game so far and are placed at the bottom of the points table whereas Adelaide Strikers Women have won only seven games so far and are placed fourth in the points table. However, both teams will also try to win the game to keep their hopes alive in the tournament.

Notably, Adelaide Strikers, Brisbane Heat, Hobart Hurricanes, Melbourne Renegades, Melbourne Sixers, Perth Scorchers, Sydney Sixers and Sydney Thunder are the eight teams currently participating in the tournament. There will be 56 matches in the double round-robin group stage. The round-robin stage will end on November 20. While Perth Scorchers are the defending champions, Sydney Sixers, Sydney Thunder and Brisbane Heat are the joint-most successful teams in WBBL with two titles each so far.
