Sydney Sixers Women have won eight matches so far and are placed first in the points table whereas Brisbane Heat Women have won eight games so far and are placed second in the points table. However, both teams will also try to win the game to keep their hopes alive in the tournament.
Notably, Adelaide Strikers, Brisbane Heat, Hobart Hurricanes, Melbourne Renegades, Melbourne Sixers, Perth Scorchers, Sydney Sixers and Sydney Thunder are the eight teams currently participating in the tournament. There will be 56 matches in the double round-robin group stage. The round-robin stage will end on November 20.
