In the second innings, De Silva once again did well, but the lack of support from the other end cost them the game. And, now, they would like to give their best to win the upcoming Test as well.

Pakistan, on the other hand, will be high on confidence after winning the second Test as well. Their bowling unit stepped up, posing significant challenges to the Sri Lankan batters as well. However, it was Saud Shakeel’s outstanding double-century in the first innings that worked in Pakistan’s favour. While they had a stunning start as a team, Pakistan would want their other batters to step up and do well in the second Test as well.

The pitch at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo is likely to favour the spinners, which could be challenging for the batters. Moreover, it could offer more turns and uneven bounce too as well.
