It’s the final of Indian Premier League 2023 season between two of the most consistent and formidable teams, Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans. Originally the match was scheduled on 28 May on Sunday, but it got postponed to 29 May due to continuous rain. Gujarat is playing their second consecutive finals of the IPL. If Gujarat wins the finals, then they will become the second team after Mumbai Indians to lift the IPL trophy consecutively for 2 years. Chennai Super Kings are fighting for their 5th IPL trophy. Gujarat Titans have performed consistently this season and that’s all because of their consistent performers. One such player is Sai Sudarshan, a left arm batsman. Sai Sudarshan is a young and talented batsman who is capable of building a solid score for his team. Sai Sudarshan has scored a half century for his team Gujarat Titans in the ongoing finals. This innings of Sudarshan can turn out to be very impactful for GT and CSK at the same time, as GT will look forward to score 200 plus runs, whereas for CSK it will become difficult to chase such a huge target. Sudarshan has played 8 matches this season so far and has scored 270 plus runs. This innings from Sudarshan of 96 runs will help GT to move further towards their second trophy.
Narendra Modi Stadium of Ahmedabad is considered to be a batting pitch, as there has been a lot of 200 plus scores scored. CSK will look forward to stopping GT before 225 runs, as it will become very difficult for them to chase such a huge target. CSK has a long batting line-up and also a very experienced one. On the other hand GT has one of the best bowling departments of the tournament, as two of the top wicket takers are from GT. If CSK manages to get a solid start in the powerplay without losing any wicket then, they might create a chance for themselves, otherwise the stats and papers say that GT will most probably lift their 2nd IPL trophy.
