Mayank Agarwal, the seasoned Indian Test cricketer, recently took to his official X (formerly Twitter) account to share a snapshot of himself sipping water aboard a plane. The Karnataka-born right-handed batsman accompanied the image with the caption ‘Bilkul bhi risk nahi lene ka re babaaaaa !,’ alluding to a recent health scare he faced.

The 32-year-old inadvertently consumed spirit, a disinfectant and cleaning agent, while on an Indigo flight, mistakenly mistaking it for bottled water. This resulted in a discomforting burning sensation, prompting Agarwal to be promptly rushed to a local hospital upon disembarking. Fortunately, he received a clean bill of health and swiftly returned to the cricket field, representing Karnataka in the Ranji Trophy.
