Leicestershire will host India for a four-day warm-up match ahead of their fifth Test against England in June. The match will be played from June 24 to 27 at the Grace Road, Leicester. The fixture will be an important match for the visiting side as it will help them to acclimatize and get used to the English conditions ahead of their fifth and final Test against England.
India currently lead the five-Test series 2-1 with the final match being called off in 2021 due to the Covid-19 situation. Test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara has been called back to the Test squad after his prolific run for Surrey in county cricket while senior pros Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah will return to the side after being rested for the T20 series against South Africa which gets underway from June 9.

The warm-up match between Leicestershire and India will run for four days. However, as it is a warm-up game, no TV Channels will telecast it. But cricket fans can follow the live updates and scores of the match on the official accounts of Leicestershire and the Board of Control For Cricket in India (BCCI).
Leicestershire: The county cricket club are still to announce their squad for the warm-up match.
