After having a good game in a high-scoring contest against Chennai Super Kings, KL Rahul-led Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), who had earlier beat Delhi Capitals by a whopping 50 runs, would try to get back to the winning zone.

While South African wicketkeeper-batter Quinton de Kock will join Lucknow after the completion of South Africa’s ODI series against the Netherlands, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will have the captain Aiden Markram, wicketkeeper Heinrich Klaasen and fast bowler Marco Jansen as well. Kyle Mayers, who was promoted up the order in De Kock’s absence, has been in sublime form and has hit two half-centuries in the two matches played so far.

Meanwhile, Mayers’ teammate Nicholas Pooran has also been in great form and has shown glimpses of his skills in both matches as well. England pacer Mark Wood too had a good spell in the first game against Delhi Capitals, claiming a five-wicket haul, and in the second match against CSK he picked up three scalps.

Sunrisers Hyderabad, on the other hand, had a poor show in the first match against Rajasthan Royals, under Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Bowling first, Sunrisers bowlers got hit as Rajasthan openers Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal scored the highest-ever powerplay score for Rajasthan in the history of the IPL as well. Meanwhile, their batting unit couldn’t even put up a fight as well and they have a lot to work on for the next game. And, seeing both teams, a cracking game is awaiting.
