On the 10th of October, Thursday India will go up against England in the 2nd Semi-Final of the T20 World Cup 2022 at the Adelaide Oval. India finished on the first spot in Group 2 as they won 4 out of their 5 encounters. England finished on the second spot in Group 1 with 3 wins, 1 loss and 1 abandoned game due to bad weather. The winner of this game will join Pakistan for the Finals at the MCG.

England were brilliant throughout the tournament, with Sam Curran being their star performer with the ball and different batters stood up at different times and contributed to the success of the team. Jos Buttler is due for a big one in this tournament and tomorrow would well be the day he unleashes the beast in him. KL Rahul, Suryakumar Yadav and Virat Kohli have done most of the run-scoring for India, Arshdeep has performed brilliantly though out the tournament. Rohit Sharma has has a poor tournament so far but he is a big match player and could well turn up tomorrow with all guns blazing.

The pitch is expected to provide decent support to both the batters and the bowlers. The spinner will play an important role in the middle overs. The team winning the toss might look to bowl first and chase down the target under lights, in the second innings.
