The third Test between England and Australia will begin on Thursday, July 6 at the Headingley in Leeds, with Australia leading the five-match Ashes series 2-0. After winning the first Test, Australia managed to carry forward the winning momentum and they beat England in the second Test at Lord’s by 43 runs as well. Meanwhile, veteran Steve Smith smashed a century for Australia whereas Ben Duckett missed out on his maiden Ashes century by two runs and Australia set a target of 371 for England as well.

On the other hand, Ben Stokes led from the front and smashed a sensational hundred. He was about to take the team home before getting out for 155 and Australia then removed the tail as well. However, England has to win the third Test to keep their hopes alive. Notably, the Aussies have suffered a huge blow as Nathan Lyon has been ruled out of the rest of the Ashes due to a calf injury that he sustained in the second Test as well. It will be interesting to see which team will win.
