Coastal Riders, Godavari Titans, Uttarandhra Lions, Rayalaseema Kings, Vizag Warriors and Bezawada Tigers are currently playing in 15 league stage matches of the inaugural edition of the Andhra Premier League 2022. The tournament is taking place at the Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam. Star players like Ricky Bhui, KS Bharat and Ashwin Hebbar are taking part in the Andhra Premier League 2022. And, this tournament will provide a big chance for the domestic players to showcase their talent and help them become professional cricketers.
However, a handful of games have already taken place. The 7th game will be played between Godavari Titans and Vizag Warriors on July 8, Friday at 1.00 PM IST. Godavari Titans have last played against Coastal Riders in the inaugural game of the tournament and won by 2 runs (VJD method). KV Sasikanth smashed a quickfire 55 for Coastal Riders but CR Gnaneshwar’s 20 at the opening helped his side win. On the other hand, Vizag Warriors last played against Bezawada Tigers and lost the match by 8 wickets. Ashwin Hebbar top-scored with 35.

The matches would be telecast live by Star Sports (Telugu), which has purchased the telecast rights for INR 2 crore and on a daily basis, two matches would be played. One will be played from 1 p.m. to 4.20 p.m. and the other will be played from 6.30 p.m. to 9.50 p.m.
